Description: Led by Metro Historic Tours, this immersive walking and bus tour guides participants through key sites impacted by the 1917 East St. Louis Race Massacre. Through archival storytelling and narrative stops, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the racial, labor, and political tensions that led to one of the deadliest uprisings in U.S. history.

Description: Hosted by The Community Archive in partnership with The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center, this powerful evening features a panel discussion with descendants of massacre survivors and community elders. Attendees will also engage in an oral history listening session featuring newly recorded testimonies, curated for reflection and dialogue.
“Memory Carried Forward: A Multimedia Exhibit of Resistance & Resilience”

Description: Curated by The East Side Arts Collective and The Community Archive, this multimedia exhibit features archival photographs, survivor artifacts, oral history audio, and contemporary art responses. Housed at The Sunshine Cultural Arts Center, the exhibit is designed to invite community reflection and historical reckoning.
